Born in Montreal, Francine Paquin and Bernard Frenette have been working, as autodidact, since 1974. In 1985 their common experience in creating pieces using the technic of Raku leads them towards sculpture and pictorial work.
Since 1990, they devote all their energies to art painting. Their pictures are created with mixed technics: engraving and painting with acrylic in harmonious half-tones.
They are now settled down in Orford, in Quebec where a charming site, and a heavenly music inspire their work in which we can always feel warmth and serenity.
